Berry Sorbet is the perfect treat for that hot summer day.  I know many people have started to get their fall decor out but I’m still in summer mode because I’m sweating like bullets in this GA heat. Transformation Tuesday: Elisa Nightstand

August 25, 2015

A few weeks ago, my friend Elisa messaged me some pictures of some furniture next to our church’s dumpster. She prefaced the message by saying, “Don’t be offended!” LOL!! I totally cracked up. Offended? NO. I was ecstatic when I saw the cute, vintage piece in the background. She happily picked it up for me so… Read more

Farmhouse Stools

August 24, 2015

Hey peeps, hope you had a great weekend!  Last week, I did a quick little project to spruce up my island stools. When we bought our house three years ago, we had this huge island but no stools. I miss her big giant hugs, random crazy dance moves, impromptu jams on the piano, base guitar, harmonica, and ukulele. It’s a mix of excitement, happiness and sadness and I’m letting myself feel it all. I catch myself getting weepy throughout the day but I feel a deep sense of gratitude for this new season and what she’ll get to experience.
Aside from the rug, the girls styled their space and it turned out so cute. I love that she’s rooming with her friend from 1st grade. How can my child be in college?!😭😢
