Hey everyone, can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? If you’re hosting, have you planned out your menu yet? This is the first year I’m not hosting for my family! My SIL is hosting but I plan on bringing a bunch of sides and desserts.
Here are some recipes I’ve posted that make a great side dish for Thanksgiving.
Sweet Cornbread Casserole is always a crowd pleaser.
Try the Roasted Kabocha Squash. It’s healthy, delicious, and perfect with some Turkey and dressing.
Roasted cauliflower is one of my favorite vegetables.
Here are a few other recipes I love adding to our Thanksgiving menu.
The pioneer woman’s mac and cheese
Homemade cranberry sauce is so easy and you can make it days ahead of time. Here’s a recipe from Betty Crocker.
It ain’t Thanksgiving without some green bean casserole. Here’s a delicious one from Alton Brown.
How about Bobby’s Flay’s mashed potatoes with roasted garlic and mascarpone cheese? Um, yes please!
I’m not a huge fan of marshmallows on top of my sweet potato casserole but I do love pecans. You could easily add the marshmallows too if you’re like Jimmy who loves it that way. This recipe is from Ellie Krieger.
We can’t forget desserts! If you want something besides pumpin pie, try these recipes.
Chocolate quinoa cake. Oh it’s just so good!
Finally, here’s a pumpkin pie from Paula Deen.
Whatever you decide to make or eat, I hope it’s a blessed time with your loved ones!
