A crudité arrangement is a lovely way to present and serve vegetables in a unique way.
Next time, you have a gathering, wow your guests with this beautiful crudité arrangement. This gorgeous take on a vegetable platter is inspired by my designer pal, Eddie Ross. He is the king of entertainment! I love how you can take a normal vegetable tray up a notch and create a lovely centerpiece with those colorful vegetables.
Here’s a video showing you how I created my crudité arrangement. By the way, I just started a you tube account and would love for you to subscribe there. It’s something I said I would NEVER do but well, you know how that goes. #neversaynever
The first thing you do is gather your gorgeous bounty of vegetables. You can really use any vegetables that you want. I love having a mix of vibrant colors so I used peppers, celery and a variety of carrots. You could use cucumbers, asparagus or whatever your heart desires.
After washing and peeling your vegetables, slice them up into strips.
Rinse your cabbage and cut the bottom part off so that it has a level bottom. You will remove some of the larger, dirty leaves and then sit it upright in the bowl. Peel back some of the layers of the cabbage. Take a knife and carefully, make a slice around the center to create an opening for the dressing. I usually use a spoon or melon ball scooper to make a clean hole.
Add your vegetables until it’s completely full and then add your favorite dressing. Leave in the fridge for later that day. I don’t recommend storing it in the fridge for more than 24 hours since the vegetables have the natural tendency to turn brown.
That’s it!!! You could even use this for a tablescape centerpiece like I did below.
I made that one for my friend’s baby shower and the guests didn’t realize they could eat it. Ha!
