You’re gonna want to try this easiest air fryer salmon recipe!
One of the most used appliances in our home is our convection/toaster oven. We recently replaced our 12-year-old toaster oven for this combo 8-in-1 oven which also has an air fryer component. This toaster oven seriously makes my life so much better! I can not say enough good things about it because it has two levels! That means I can cook more food in there and it’s so much faster than using your conventional oven. This is seriously the easiest air fryer salmon recipe.
Easiest air fryer salmon ingredients
- wild-caught salmon
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- paprika
- optional: squeezed lemon
After getting this toaster oven, I have been making this air fryer salmon and it comes out delicious every time. It’s so easy and the best part is that it’s super nutritious and delicious as leftovers. Emmy requests this often and we have it with lots of roasted veggies, salad and/or rice.
The holidays are right upon us and the colder weather makes me want to eat all the things! If this is you too, we need to help one another out! Hence, my easiest air fryer salmon recipe so we can still make healthy choices this season.
Directions:
Preheat your oven to air fryer setting at 400 degrees. If you don’t have an air fryer, use the convection oven or regular oven and set it to 400 degrees.
Thaw your salmon if it’s frozen and pat it dry. Lay your parchment paper and place the fillets on the metal tray. Since the skin is on the bottom, I just add the seasoning to the top.
Drizzle some oil all over the salmon fillets. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Place in oven for around 10-15 minutes. Salmon cooks fairly quickly and each oven will vary depending on how many fillets you are cooking. Just keep an eye on it and make sure not to overcook it to avoid a dry fish.
That’s it! Serve it with rice or a salad. It’s so easy and delicious which is what I try to aim for during the weeknights especially after we’ve eaten too well over the weekend. It has a delicious crusty exterior and it should have a tender fillet inside. Squeeze some fresh lemon if you want!
Try it with my roasted kabocha squash or roasted cauliflower!
Enjoy, friends!
