Hey friends, today I’m sharing an easy and delicious crock pot recipe with you. I’m a mom of 3 kids. I need easy and delicious. I’m thinking you need easy and delicious too. My friend, Jennifer shared this recipe with me recently and I’ve already made it twice. Plus, we love to host dinners with friends and this meal makes it so easy to do just that. The crock pot does all of the work until the very end when you mix in the sauce. I promise it’s that good so be sure to try it soon.
The recipe feeds at least 8 people so you can modify the amount to your preference.
Crockpot Asian Tacos
Ingredients:
- 7.5-8 lbs of Boneless Shoulder Pork Ribs
- 1 cup Hoison sauce
- 6 TBSP mustard
- 4 TBSP soy sauce
- 2 TBSP sesame oil
- 2 TBSP of rice wine
- 4 tsp of garlic powder
I like to use the boneless ribs so that I don’t have to cut the meat into chunks or get rid of the bones later. You could however use the bone-in pork shoulder or butt.
Place the boneless pork ribs into the crockpot and fill it with water so that it just covers the meat. Cook for 6-8 hours. After it’s done, drain all the water and fat.
Mix all of the sauce ingredients into a bowl. Shred all of the pork. It should pull apart easily. Pour the sauce over the shredded meat. Mix the sauce into the pulled pork. It’s so tender and flavorful!
Serve with taco shells or soft shells with all of your normal taco toppings. I love making a taco salad with all of my favorite ingredients.
It would be awesome with my fresh pico de gallo.
