This Asian Beef with Mushrooms is the easiest dinner recipe that everyone will love.
A couple of weeks ago, my sister and I posted one of her delicious dinner recipes on my IG TV. It was such a hit and so many of you made and shared it with me on Instagram.
Yun Mi cooked it for me last Christmas when I visited her with my girls during the Home Depot makeover. She cooked a few delicious instant pot meals and this was one of them. Emmy isn’t a big meat eater but she tore this up!
The great thing about this recipe is that you only need 4 ingredients and they all go into the Instant pot or crock pot. It’s so easy and the meat is super tender and perfect on top of some fluffy white rice.
Here’s how to make your own.
Asian Beef with Mushrooms
- 4.5 lbs chuck roast cut into fist sizes
- 2 cups of sliced portobello or shiitake mushrooms
- 1 cup of soy sauce or teriyaki soy sauce
- 1 cup of brown sugar
Place the meat and mushrooms into the instant pot/crock pot. Mix the soy sauce and brown sugar in a bowl and pour over the meat and mushroom. Stir so that the sauce covers all of the meat.
Instant Pot directions: On manual setting, put it to 45 minutes and make sure it’s set to natural release.
Crock pot: Set it to 6-8 hours
The great thing about this dish is that it really takes minimal work and the results are so awesome. I know that you will want to put this on your weekly rotation for dinner ideas. Since fall is just around the corner, I’m getting ready to put my Instant pot to good use and this is definitely going to be on the menu.
