SEE WHAT GOT COMPLETED FOR MY MOM’S BEDROOM FOR WEEK 3 PROGRESS OF THE ORC CHALLENGE!
How is it week 3 already for the One Room Challenge. Well, my mom’s bedroom is slowly coming together. I only have one day to work on it every week and this past week we were able to get an important part completed. If you want to start from the beginning you can click on Week 1 and Week 2 posts.
I’m linking with the other ORC participants at Calling it Home and sharing the weekly progress of my mom’s bedroom makeover. I encourage you to check out other peoples’ transformations because there is so much inspiration to be found!
Like I said, we were able to knock out a big project this past week and it was the wallpaper! This wallpaper from Graham and Brown went up on the focal wall and it’s even more gorgeous in person.
My mom helped install the wallpaper and JJ was there “helping” aka making loud sounds and causing lots of distractions. Thankfully, we got it knocked out in 2 hours and I have to say that I am getting more and more comfortable installing wallpaper. If you’re wanting to make a statement in a room, wallpaper is a wonderful choice. There are so many different types available now and the quality is amazing too.
I was just happy to cover that baby blue wall color. The lighting in here is terrible so I can’t wait to reveal it in natural daylight.
Haha, that would be my La Croix.
Here’s my design inspiration board I created from the beginning. There are a few changes but this is what my vision was for the bedroom.
Thank you for following along! I’ve ordered the headboard, purchased some nightstands and just need to source a dresser. Stay tuned, friends!
