ORC: Main Bathroom Week 2

April 13, 2017

Hi friends! Well it’s already week 2 of the One Room Challenge. If you’re here visiting for the first time, you can catch up from the first week post here. My name is Yuni and you can read more about me here.

Last week, I shared my inspiration board for our main bathroom.

I think many people thought I was working on our our master bathroom but it’s actually the bathroom on our main level. This bathroom happens to have a bathtub because there’s a guest room right across from it.

Truth be told, I didn’t get much done this week because we are currently housing a number of guests in our home for the next week. Since guests have to use this particular bathroom, working in it has been out of the question. I’ll most likely be scrambling the last couple of weeks for the ORC.

I did however receive some pretties from my friends over at Lamps Plus. Here’s a little photo of some of the goodies I chose from my generous sponsor.

Do you die!? That marble tray comes in a pack of two and they have a gorgeous black marbled design. It’s so chic and pretty! The geometric shaped ball was also another Lamps Plus choice and I am really digging the mirrored decorative box.  I love how sleek and modern it is and it’s going to look awesome in the bathroom.

Before the guests arrived, I did manage to give most of the bathroom one coat of paint. Jimmy patched up the holes where the towel hanger used to be. Here’s how it currently looks.

Well, that’s it! I don’t have much to share but hopefully, I’ll be able to finish the second coat of paint this week. I’m still waiting for a bunch of products to arrive from my sponsors including, Lamps Plus, Hayneedle and Lighting Design so I’ll be sure to share those in the coming weeks.

If you’re new and would like to see my past two transformation, be sure to check out our guest room and our youngest daughter’s room.

Thanks so much for reading and stopping by!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Just now catching up on the previous weeks, and I have to say I love how you’re mixing vintage pieces with more modern ones. That, to me, is the perfect way to style any room, when you’ve got gorgeous pieces like the traditional vanity juxtaposed against more modern ones like the brass hardware, geometric ball and marble tray. Cannot wait for next week!

Thanks, Oksana! I do loving mixing pieces together to create an interesting visual display. You do that so well too, friend!
