This week’s Friday Favorites include a newly organized baking cabinet, fresh window treatments and a feature in Domino (not the pizza).
Hey guys, I hope you all had a wonderful week. I’m linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals and sharing my Friday favorites. I feel like the weeks are flying by but I was so happy to catch up on a bit of blogging since I’ve had so much to share but very little time to do so.
Last month, I was really surprised to find out that I was listed as one of the 47 designers of color to follow on Instagram by Domino magazine. I am a long time lover of Domino so I was flabbergasted and truly humbled. Do you want to hear something funny? Both my brother and my 8 year old son got excited and thought it was Domino’s pizza. HA!! Maybe one day, Domino’s pizza will recognize me for being a lover of good pizza but they probably could care less about my passion for design.
Did you have a chance to check out one of my client’s spaces that I recently finished? I know I’m biased but I really loved how it came together and it just shows that neutral doesn’t have to be boring. It can be calm, refreshing and quite lovely.
I also shared how a simple pair of curtains really cozied up our kitchen patio doors. You can read all about that here.
Oh yeah, I can’t forget this next photo. Organized cabinets make my heart sing. Yes, I know. I’m a total nerd. Make that a nerd with an organized baking cabinet!
Here’s what it used to look like. #facepalm Every time I needed a cupcake tray, a bunch more trays would fall out. I do a ton of baking so making this small change has really made me so happy!
Jimmy installed this cabinet organizer and it even pulls out! Since it’s higher up above our ovens, this has made it so much easier to retrieve my pans. I bake throughout the week so I’m so glad we finally added this to our cabinet. If you look in the back right, I stacked file organizers on it’s side to place smaller baking dishes. So great!! #majornerd The space is now utilizing maximum storage.
Okay, onto Valentines Day!
If you need a fun Valentine’s Day card idea for your kids. This is it! My older kids seem to be too old but I still have Emmy so she’ll be bringing hers to school. And that’s a picture of my oldest many years ago. #sigh
If you need some yummy ideas for Valentines, how about my paleo almond dark chocolate?
Or these delicious carrot cake cupcakes?
How about some banana bread heart muffins?
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for reading, friends.
xoxo,
