This year, I have a thankful heart for all of you and this space where I get to share my heart, creativity and passion.
Hey friends, it’s been a little quiet around here but I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I’ve been busy with some client projects, getting ready for some posts where I’m working with brands and of course being a mom and wife. We also just finished our second home study for fostering so we’re busy getting our house ready for the final inspection where we’ll hopefully pass the test! I’ll do a whole post on that soon because it deserves one on it’s own. I have a thankful heart because we’re finally in the last stages of our paperwork and home study.
I did manage to squeeze two videos which included a fun floral arrangement where I shared how I created a humongous centerpiece for only $10. The other was how I created my front door garland with mostly fresh greenery I cut outside.
This is my foraged arrangement. It’s huge right? You can see that video here.
And here’s my front door. The garland is so easy and you can watch the video to see how you can create your own. I also made that gigantic mama wreath and have to say it’s my favorite one yet.
Last week, I also lost my cousin, Ric unexpectedly. He was loved by many, especially the students he taught. My heart has been heavy for my sweet aunt, uncle and cousin, Cat. I know the holidays are such a sweet time spent with family and friends but I also know it can be a very painful time for many. So this week my heart and prayers are going out to my aunt’s family as well as many of you who may be going through difficult seasons in your own lives. I know the holidays can be a heavy reminder of missed loved ones or broken relationships. If this is you, I wanted to just share this verse.
We may not understand his ways but we can trust that in uncertainty and pain, he is to be trusted and that He is working for our good.
I’ll be back to share some recent projects soon but just wanted to share this little bit of encouragement for anyone who may have needed to hear it tonight.
Thank you friends. I’m truly thankful for each and every one of you who read, comment and share my posts.
xoxo,
yuni
