I’m popping my head in to say Merry Christmas! I know what you’re thinking. What a picture perfect family! That’s because you haven’t seen the bloopers. ENJOY!! #yourewelcome
Anyone notice a trend? #mymiddlechild
Honestly, the majority of the pics look like this. #imnotkidding
Behind every happy family picture is one annoyed mama. After a while, I confess I really did get annoyed. One kid was doing this funny face during every photo, another started to get terribly whiny, and we were all getting hungry.
Don’t we all look so happy??!!! NOT! Emmy was over it and started tantrumming. This is what happens when the poor girl gets hangry. By this point, we all had enough and it had only been about 8 minutes.
Here is what I choose for the opposite side. After looking and choosing, I could not love this one more than the rest. I can’t stop looking at these photos and laughing at all of them.
Thankful for these cuties, even the middle one. 😀
So when you look at a picture perfect family, remember this. It’s most likely one out of a gazillion takes. So from my imperfect family to yours, Merry Christmas!! I’m truly thankful for this bunch. I guess the Lord thought we lacked personality so he had to add some to our family with my little ones!
A special thank you to Craig Obrist for capturing our family so perfectly and to Unchong for feeding us immediately after the shoot. You guys are amazing!
May you be filled with joy in celebrating the birth of our precious Jesus!

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
