Back to School Traditions

August 5, 2015

This summer was a little different from summers past. We had family and guests stay with us the majority of the summer break and so time really flew. There were countless mouths to feed, time-outs, dirty dishes, loads of laundry, crumbs on the floors, toys strewn about and of course tantrums! BUT, there were tons of memories… Read more

Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

July 31, 2015

I miss her big giant hugs, random crazy dance moves, impromptu jams on the piano, base guitar, harmonica, and ukulele. It’s a mix of excitement, happiness and sadness and I’m letting myself feel it all. I catch myself getting weepy throughout the day but I feel a deep sense of gratitude for this new season and what she’ll get to experience.
Aside from the rug, the girls styled their space and it turned out so cute. I love that she’s rooming with her friend from 1st grade. How can my child be in college?!😭😢
