Hey everyone! Today, I’m linking up with Momfessionals for my Friday Favorites.
Thank you so much for all the comments regarding JJ’s new room makeover. I’m so glad you love it as much as we do. I had such a fun time pulling it all together. It’s always cool to see the result of an image in your mind come to fruition. Next week, I’ll break down the costs and share all of the DIY details.
Can you believe it’s October? I’ll share some fun little Halloween ideas like this one above. Isn’t it so funny and creepy at the same time? The kids get a kick out of them every year. I can’t wait to decorate our front door for Halloween. #imthatmom
This past weekend, my mom and I made kimbap (seaweed rice rolls). One of the biggest reasons I started the blog was to document all of my mom’s recipes to pass it down to my own kids. I’m planning on doing a series on Korean recipes. It’s a lot more work because the ingredients and prep work are much more complex. I’m working on it!
I shared one of our favorite vegetables this week called Kabocha squash. Let me know if you try it and make sure to watch your fingers!
Do you remember my post a while back on hospitality? It doesn’t have to be complicated when sharing a meal with others. Here’s a potluck meal shared with friends one evening. It’s a combination of frozen lasagna, garlic bread made from end pieces, and kale salad straight from the bag. We had such a delicious dinner and an amazing time of fellowship with our friends. There’s so much freedom when we take the pressure off ourselves to prepare the perfect meal and setting and instead, place the focus on Jesus and serving others. This has been a learning process for me and God is continually teaching me what a true heart of hospitality looks like.
Our church volunteered last week preparing meals for hungry children around the world. We’re always trying to figure out ways to get our kids more involved in serving the community. I love how JJ is just totally being himself.
I love putting these flowers from my garden throughout the home. It’s called Autumn Joy and they last forever. They make the perfect Fall arrangement. Have you put in touches of Fall into your own home?
If you’re in Atlanta, you don’t want to miss out on this women’s conference. You can still register here. I’ve been a part of the planning team for months and we’re so excited to see what God is going to do. If you’re on the fence, just come! We’ve been praying for you!
I leave you with the best picture of the week. #dadlife #craycraylife #bestlife
Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Luke 6:35
