This week’s Friday Favorites consist of ugly storm trooper cupcakes, crazy face pictures and children’s overalls.
Today, I’m linking up with Momfessionals and sharing my Friday Favorites for this week. Last weekend, we celebrated our son, JJ turning 8. As always, I planned it last minute (night before) and invited our neighbors. We grilled burgers, hot dogs and I made the most hideous storm trooper cupcakes. Jimmy made a bunch of DIY light sabers. I love how JJ rarely makes normal faces for pictures. He is such a character! I’ve included affiliate links for your convenience in this post.
These #pinterestfail cupcakes made us laugh so much. Well, I tried. I blame the terrible bag of marshmallows that were all stuck together. Most didn’t even resemble a marshmallow. Look at that one guy in the back with a narrow face. Jimmy joked it’s because he’s on paleo. lol
If you’re still on the fence regarding the Instant Pot, it’s currently on sale for $79.99! I made bbque chicken in it twice this week and quinoa which comes out perfect every time. I also love steaming potatoes and eggs and it’s super quick. I’ll be using it a ton during the cooler months.

Oh boy, we’ve had Pinterest fails over here, too. I think they look great either way!! And sometimes the fails are the funniest memories!
