It’s Friday so that means Friday Favs are up! I’m linking up with Momfessionals today.
I’m still on cloud 9 from being a part of Everything Home Magazine. This digital magazine is truly a great place to find DIY ideas and gain inspiration for anything home related. I’ve been in the process of working with some friends and family with their homes and can’t wait to reveal the before and after with you all. I wanted to share one bit of information regarding my master bedroom up there. I love when a room looks expensive without actually being expensive. Sometimes, a fresh coat of paint on the walls and furniture can truly refresh and upgrade the room. Our bedroom furniture is over 13 years old and most of the things in there aside from the mattress and headboard were thrifted or antiqued. I’m a firm believer that great design doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. Jimmy and I still love our bedroom today and it’s truly our retreat at night when we go to bed.
Ms Craftberry Bush released her free March Desktop Watercolor Calendar.
Kellie shares these beautiful spring free printables here. Look how pretty they look on her mantle.
Check out this post with 8 Spring Wreath Ideas. I just put my spring wreath up on my mantle and I’ll share the easy tutorial on that soon.
I’ve been following along with This Life I Live for a while now. It’s written by Rory and it’s a beautiful, gut wrenching testimony of him and his wife, Joey who has been battling cancer. They also happen to be a famous country singing duo. The last post totally pierced my heart especially seeing her kiss her daughter for the last time. In her short life, Jody lived well and loved well. As a follower of Jesus, she didn’t have any regrets at the end. What a legacy she will leave behind.
My good friend’s dad got diagnosed with a rare progressive neurodegenerative disorder this past week. It’s been a roller coaster for their family as it was devastating news. In both stories, I see personal testimonies of their extraordinary faith and how God uses every detail of our lives, good and bad for his glory. I’m reminded when going through suffering that we can place our hope and trust in God because ultimately, our citizenship resides in heaven.
I hope you have a wonderful, blessed weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. Philippians 3:20
