I saw this image this past week online and I was like, “Heeeeyyyyyyy there good looking cake.” Am I the only one that talks to my food? I’m totally making this soon. You know how much I love naked cakes.

HWH Spice Organization.1874

I love how Megan organized her spices by labeling and placing them in similar containers in a drawer.

Jimmy and I celebrate 13 years of marriage next week. I loved this post regarding date nights and the importance of keeping them. We haven’t always been great with this but we’re trying to make it more of a habit of sticking to date nights. I totally agree that date nights don’t have to be extreme but it shouldn’t be tossed aside either.  It can be a great way to practice creativity and resourcefulness especially if you’re limited by time or money. When you have kids, I think it’s even more important to set aside that time for each other. If you have any thoughts or ideas on how you implement this in your relationship, I would love to hear your ideas!

Have a wonderful weekend!

My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations,” says the LORD Almighty. Malachi 1:11

I miss her big giant hugs, random crazy dance moves, impromptu jams on the piano, base guitar, harmonica, and ukulele. It’s a mix of excitement, happiness and sadness and I’m letting myself feel it all. I catch myself getting weepy throughout the day but I feel a deep sense of gratitude for this new season and what she’ll get to experience.
Aside from the rug, the girls styled their space and it turned out so cute. I love that she’s rooming with her friend from 1st grade. How can my child be in college?!😭😢
