Hey friends, today I’m linking up with Momfessionals and sharing my Friday Favorites.
If you’re my FB friend, you know I’m my brother’s biggest fan and cheerleader. Well this past week, John was on tv. He did a short interview and a clip from the musical on Great Day Washington with Cinderella. If they sound that good at 7AM, you can imagine how good they are on stage.
Jimmy has been away on a business trip since Sunday and is finally coming home today! Thankfully, my little monsters have been pretty manageable this week. Jules left me a few notes throughout the week on my bathroom mirror saying the she would help me as much as she could because she knew it would be harder for me without dad here. Oh my gosh you guys, that made my heart all sorts of mushy. Most days, I feel like a mediocre parent at best but that really reminded me of God’s grace and how he shows it in the most perfect way through our children. It humbled my heart tenfold and I felt thankful during my single parenting this week. To all the single parents or with those who have spouses that are away for one reason or another, you are rockstars!
I shared a little DIY that makes for a wonderful Christmas gift for a little girl.
This week, I shared some wonderful ideas to incorporate into your Thanksgiving menu.
A few weeks ago, I shared a Fall tablescape. You can use some of those ideas for your Thanksgiving table.
Here’s a little sneak peek at my Christmas tree. Since Jimmy was out of town, I crafted my heart out every night. I can’t wait to share the rest of the home when it’s all done!

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. With everything happening around us, it’s more important than ever to extend hospitality and generosity with those around us. As always, I’m thankful you’re here.

But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD. Jonah 2:9
