Hey guys, today I’m linking up with Momfessionals and sharing some Friday Favorites!
The other day, Emmy and I went to meet her preschool teachers. She was proudly sporting some sparkly Michael Jackson Toms and insisted on carrying her purse full of Monopoly money. Otherwise, who’s gonna pay for the groceries? I can’t believe she’s starting school next week. It’s only 2 days a week but people, I’m gonna get 8 glorious hours to myself! #praisehim #canigetanamen #youmamasknowwhatimtalkingabout
My garden has been producing a lot of basil and tomatoes so that means we’ve been eating a lot of this! #panpizza
Keeping up with our garden has been so much fun this summer. We harvested a lot of yummy herbs and veggies but some didn’t grow as well as we wanted. See exhibit A. We harvested 1 eggplant all summer. Honestly, I accidentally bought that plant by mistake because it was in the tomato aisle.
Since my SIL moved here recently, I’ve been helping her with a few projects around her home. We bought some fabric together to reupholster her antique chairs. The yellow fabric was terribly stained and outdated. Cut, staple, and voila, you have new fresh and updated chairs! I’m telling you, this is one of the easiest projects to do and it can really freshen up your space. Here’s the post I did on my chairs a while back.
When a friend drops by unannounced and brings you a beautiful card, orchid, and homemade food, you thank God for such blessings.
I’m a perpetual doodler. Did you know that you can doodle/script during your devotionals? It amazes me how creative we can be with our worship to God. Try it! It may elevate your focus and memory while studying scripture. I’ve been practicing writing out verses this way.
Neighbor friends and dinner= perfect combination.
When my sister texts me pictures like this, I literally stare at it for a few minutes because it’s just too much.
After church one Sunday, Jimmy led us in family boot camp. The best part was watching the kids do burpies. #minsanity
Watching your guy make Saturday morning breakfast? #enoughsaid
That’s what I’m talking about! Waffle recipe here along with these simple omelettes. The Aidell’s pineapple bacon sausage is from Costco. Run to your Costco now because they don’t always carry this flavor.
Lastly, one of my favs was going out with this guy last weekend with our next door neighbors. Here’s one marital advice out of many. Date your spouse. Put them before your kids. Your kids will visually see the gospel being demonstrated by the way you love, honor, and serve your spouse. #marriageissanctifying
Hope you all have a beautiful weekend!
