Add some pizzazz to your photos or art and display them by creating wallpapered frames.
Hi friends, I hope you had a most wonderful long weekend. Before I share this wallpapered frames tutorial, I want to say that Memorial Day is not lost on me. I am truly thankful for all the soldiers and their families who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and who continue to do so so that we can enjoy all of the liberties in this life here with our loved ones in this country. Thank you!
If you remember from my laundry room makeover, I created framed napkin art in that room. I wanted to add something really fun and a pop of color and so I created a very simple art to fill the wall when you look into our laundry room. I decided to do something similar with my mom’s room when I gave her bedroom a makeover. Instead of using art, I went with something even more meaningful to her and installed photos of all her grandchildren. She looooves this side of the wall so much and I knew that it would be perfect for her space. I also thought it would be fun to use some of the extra leftover wallpaper to create a backdrop for the photos.
Here’s a quick video tutorial on how I made these. I omitted the glass from the frames but you can obviously choose to keep them. I also like to order matte photos when framing pictures so they don’t look too shiny.
See how easy it is? You could really do this with any kind of pretty paper. I love the wallpaper because it is super thick and high quality. I would avoid using something too thin.
The floral pattern is just so lovely and adds a nice little touch to this neutral corner.
We just started summer break around here so I’ll be very busy with keeping my kids busy, working and fostering! Next month, we are taking care of a 7 yr old girl and her 10 month old brother for 10 days! We met them over the weekend and they are just darling! It’s gonna be a crazy but very full summer indeed.
I hope you’re having a wonderful start to the week, friends.
xoxo,
