Traditional Master Bedroom Part 2

I recently shared Part 1 of this client’s traditional master bedroom. Today, I get to share the other half of the room and some of the fun changes we made to their traditional master bedroom.

One easy way to update a bedroom is by changing out the bed linens and pillows. New textiles really can bring new life to your bed. If you have an old comforter, a new duvet can really transform your bed. There’s nothing better than getting into your bed underneath some scrumptious bedding. 

Doesn’t the new bedding just brighten and update the space tremendously? 

It’s so fresh, clean and bright!

Since we were working with existing furniture, I recommended switching out the hardware for these pulls. I love the geometric shape and this allows Benny and Barry to use their furniture for a bit longer. Paint is another option to update furniture but I actually loved the darker wood and thought it was a great contrast to the bed and the rest of the room. 

You can totally marry the modern with the traditional. That’s the fun part of design. There are no rules.
