The Arlo Pro 3 arrived with two security cameras. It has cutting-edge technology for the DIY homeowner and the design is super chic and modern which is important for a design loving person like myself.
I especially appreciated the fact that the camera is relatively small so it can really be installed anywhere. The packaging was clean, simple and arrived easy to assemble. Most of the videos are online so you can learn to install the system in your home. There are too many unique features to count but I love how the camera has a magnetic mount and so it comes off easily when it needs to recharge.
We decided to add one security camera in the front of our property since our kids play outside all the time. My sister in law’s family lives across from us so now we can see our kids hanging out playing basketball or when they are in either driveway or yard. The high tech camera even shows a few neighbors’ homes all the way down the culdesac! We were so amazed by the detail and visibility that this technology offers.

The Arlo Smart Home subscription 3-month trial is included in the purchase of the product. I’ve been having fun accessing the app whenever I’m out to get familiar with it. One of the coolest functions is you have the ability to control the alerting. Arlo has smart notifications and it has built in artificial intelligence so that it can discern between vehicles, packages, animals or people. Um, that’s freaking cool! This cuts down on false alarms. It also has the ability to detect smoke and carbon monoxide. Say what? Gosh, I love technology.
The Arlo Pro 3 is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistance. We will be using ours and connecting it to our google.
The one outside our home will now show everything in the front of our property as well as our neighbors. I love that it will be able to withstand the elements outside. The wide camera angle will show all of our packages being delivered as well as anything that happens in front and around our property.
