See the progress of my mom’s bedroom makeover!
It’s week 5 so that means, the full transformation of my mom’s bedroom will go live next Thursday! I’m so glad that I joined this challenge because I knew that would force me to finish the room on a certain timeline. The room is truly coming together and my mom has been so excited watching the entire transformation happen before her eyes. If you want to start from the beginning you can click on Week 1 and Week 2 and week 3 and Week 4 posts.
This week’s post is sponsored by Amara Living but all styling, thoughts and tips are my own.
I’m linking with the other ORC participants at Calling it Home and sharing the weekly progress of my mom’s bedroom makeover. I encourage you to check out other peoples’ transformations because there is so much inspiration to be found!
Since my mom’s bedroom isn’t complete, I styled some products from Amara in my own home. I worked with Amara during the Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour and they were kind enough to partner with me for my mom’s bedroom makeover.
I was able to choose a few items that would be added to mom’s new room like this chic peach tray and Kate Spade box and ring holder. I plan on using these on her new dresser to organize some of her jewelry. Trays are a great way to organize and place similar items together.
Amara carries a luxury brand items and it ranges from home decor to furnishings and accessories.
I also chose this simple and very modern tea cup set with a matching saucer. I foresee my mom drinking her coffee in her new room especially since we found a sitting chair and ottoman.
I chose the skinny, tall stone vase and I love the sleek modern look along with the stone bowl. I love natural looking products as they give a nice organic touch to any space.
I’m excited to finish the last part of the room which is styling and shooting the completed space.
My dad and I also installed the headboard and my gosh, it’s soooo beautiful! I can’t wait to show it to you. My mom gasped when it went up and it totally changed the look of her bed.
And because this is real life, here’s my dad still rocking his pajamas and bed head sitting on the new chair in their bedroom.
He’s testing the comfort level and I think his face says it all. Sorry, dad for the photos! HA!
Well, that’s the end of week 5! Be sure to come back next week for the full transformation. I’m already in love with the room and am thinking of adding the same wallpaper to my own bedroom.
Thanks for following along and a big thanks to my generous sponsor, Amara for partnering up with me on this very special project.
xoxo,
