SEE WHAT GOT COMPLETED FOR MY MOM’S BEDROOM FOR WEEK 4 PROGRESS OF THE ORC CHALLENGE!
Yikes, it’s week 4 of the One Room Challenge! Things are definitely getting done and I’m pretty happy with how everything is coming together for my mom’s bedroom. If you want to start from the beginning you can click on Week 1 and Week 2 and week 3 posts.
I’m linking with the other ORC participants at Calling it Home and sharing the weekly progress of my mom’s bedroom makeover. I encourage you to check out other peoples’ transformations because there is so much inspiration to be found!
Here’s what got accomplished this past week. While Jimmy was tending to a broken toilet in their townhome, I got busy installing curtain rods and drapes.
See that pretty nightstand I found for the bedroom. It came in handy while I was installing these rods. Ha!
Here’s a better look!
The linen drapes added a lot of softness to my mom’s bedroom and makes the space feel brighter and warmer. I stuck with these side panel curtain rods since there are three windows that take up one whole large wall. We used to have a long curtain rod up there but I think this looks better as it frames the windows and they are more for design than practical reasons.
We also found a dresser and it’s perfect for this space. My mom is so excited as she slowly watches her room come together. I just realized it will be done in time for Mother’s Day!
Next week, I will add some decor and we will install the fan fixture as well as the headboard. It’ll be time to reveal this space before we know it!!
Thanks for reading and sticking with me folks! Stay tuned…
xoxo,
