Revive your old deflated sad-looking pouf or beanbag!
Do you have a sad and totally deflated pouf or beanbag at home? Is it just staring at you wondering if it can ever be full and beautiful again? Well, the answer is yes. After staring at my pitiful one for many months, I finally decided to give it new life and it was just so darn easy! I mean look at it! Cue the sad music.
You only need a few supplies.
- bean bag foam filler
- scissors
- thread
- needle
- seam ripper
- cardstock and tape
- cup
Instructions:
Take your cardstock and create a funnel using some tape. Using the seam ripper, take apart some stitches on the bottom corner. Create a hole big enough for your funnel. You don’t want the bottom of the funnel to be too small.
My pouf had small styrofoam balls, and they were trying to fly out. Thankfully, the new balls are much bigger. See! This bag contains enough for at least 2 poufs. I ordered this size bag because the price was almost the same for the smaller amount and I know I can use it again later.
The funnel is key because it keeps everything from flying everywhere. The foam balls tend to have a lot of static so this keeps it less messy.
Using a plastic cup, scoop the balls into the pouf or bean bag. Shift the pouf around when it starts to get full to ensure that all the corners get filled.
Look at her!! She’s new again! I love this fabric and didn’t want to just buy another pouf.
BEFORE
Sad, deflated, pathetic, lifeless, and depressed
AFTER!
Happy, revived, and full of life again!! Woohoo!!
Don’t let your poufs stay depressed, ya’ll.
