Take a look at my dreamy flocked Christmas tree
Today, I’m joining some other blogger friends for an inspiring Christmas tree blog hop and sharing my dreamy flocked Christmas tree. A big thanks to my friend, Stephanie at Casa Watkins Living for hosting this annual blog tour. I hope it gives you some inspiration as you get ready to decorate your own Christmas trees! If you’re coming here from Teri’s home, welcome!!
Typically in years past, I normally had a contract with deadlines to put up our tree by a certain date, and this year, I didn’t have any of those contracts. It felt nice not to be rushed into decorating and I actually wanted to put it this week! If you’ve been here long enough you know that I have done so many different types of Christmas trees.
We have the large flocked, pencil tree, skinny tree, normal fir tree, and the large Charlie Brown tree. I’ve done pink, metallic themed, blue ombre, traditional red and so many other styles. Some years, I don’t really have a plan until I bring the boxes of decor out. Once I see everything, I usually get hit with some inspiration and I just go from there.
That’s exactly what went down with this tree. I didn’t have a plan until Jimmy brought down all the containers. I looked through each box and settled on a warm metallic and gold theme with soft blush hues. I’m so in love with how this turned out and it’s my favorite yet. I also said this of the eucalyptus mantel that I just shared on Tuesday.
I own the King of Christmas 8 ft Prince pre lit flocked tree with 550 warm LED lights. I own three trees from this company and love all of them because the quality is amazing. However, I know not everyone can or wants to pay that much for a tree. That’s why I included this similar flocked option from Amazon that has amazing reviews. I can’t compare since I don’t own the Amazon one but I do appreciate reviews and advise you to read them especially if they have photos!
The disco ball ornaments cast off the most gorgeous flickers of light all around the room during the day.
Be sure to check out my Instagram to watch my step-by-step instructions on how to create a similar look.
Thanks for reading! If you want more detailed instructions on some tips for decorating your tree, I also have a blog post with directions.
Next on the blog hop tour is my friend, Haneen! Be sure to check out her lovely home.
