LET’S CHECK OUT MY FRIDAY FAVORITE FIVE EDITION 8!
How did this week already end? It felt like I woke up and it was already December. For this week’s Friday Favorite Five, I’m shining light on a new-to-me small business and sharing the best album, a fun family game, our lumberjack apparel, and my Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
If you’re looking for a fun game to play with your family or friends, try Mexican Train Dominoes. It’s easy to learn and we love playing it with our neighbors. Also, if you haven’t tried this Bellavitano merlot cheese, you need to buy this pronto. We normally pick it up at Costco but it’s usually sold in grocery stores too. It’s delicious alone or with crackers and fig jam.
I was recently contacted by Cailini Coastal to try some of their new products. I checked out the website and fell in love with everything. Meg, is a mom and owner of this new company. They sell home decor with a coastal vibe and the quality and aesthetic is really really good. I chose some items and when they arrived, I was so excited to open and use them immediately. I LOVE this large wooden bowl that’s perfect for salad. The woven serving set pairs perfectly with the bowl. It’s large enough for when I have family and friends over. I also got the Tisbury canisters that are holding some of my baking essentials.
I also chose these darling ruffle edge everything plates. It’s a bit smaller than the traditional dinner plate so it’s great for kids and when you aren’t piling a ton of food on your plate. We have been using them every day and they go great with our Blue Willow dishes. If you know someone who loves coastal decor, this will make the perfect gift idea.
Since Thanksgiving, I have been listening to the new Adele album on repeat. It’s so so good and it’s not often when all the songs on one album are top-notch. I am tempted to buy the vinyl!
The other day, I shared our Charlie Brown Christmas tree in the dining room. I put together a blog post sharing some other similar sources.
Lastly for this week, I had to share this hilarious photo that Jules took the other day. She saw us eating and said we looked like a pair of lumberjacks. I can’t stress how awesome this sherpa shacket is. I bought it from Costco up in DC and I wear it over my outfit every day at home since I’m always cold. I got Jimmy’s from Nordstrom Rack but I highly recommend checking out Costco. It’s so much cheaper.
Well that’s it for this week’s Friday Favorite Five! Thanks so much for reading and I hope you all have the very best weekend. I decided yesterday to hold a private sale for FB friends and get rid of a bunch of my staging decor. I’m such a last-minute crazy woman. I’ll get an idea and run with it even though I didn’t fully think it through. So that’s what I’ll be doing today!
xoxo,
