FRIDAY FAVORITE FIVE EDITION 23
For this week’s Friday Favorite Five Edition 23, it’s all about random beauty products I am currently using and love.
A couple of the things I’m sharing today are items I’ve been using for a while and the rest are new to me. These would make some great Mother’s Day gifts so make sure to order them today.
I really like using a balm cleanser for my face but I found the brands I loved to be terribly pricey. So I researched and found this product on Amazon called, “Clean it Zero.” I had no idea it would be such a large container and the price really can’t be beaten for the size and quality. It’s currently on sale for $24.99 and I bought it after seeing it had over 7,000 amazing reviews. If you’ve never used a cleansing balm, basically you scoop a little onto your hand and rub it until it melts. Take that oil and rub it gently to remove all makeup and dirt from your face. I found balms to be the most gentle and effective way to remove make up. After you wash it off, you want to do a double cleanse with your daily face wash.
The next thing on my list is the St. Tropez self tanner. Ya’ll, I am super pale and this stuff works really great. Once it’s warm enough for shorts, I start using this stuff and apply it on my legs and arms after I shower. The color is even and it’s super easy to apply. It’s available on Amazon but sometimes, you can get really lucky and find it at TJ Maxx. It really does give you a nice natural glow and I just use clean hands to rub the mousse on just like lotion. The bottle lasts a long time and you can use it as often as you want.
Speaking of warmer weather, it’s time to also focus on my dry crusty feet. My heels tend to get super dry especially when wearing sandals. Pedicures can only take care of the situation temporarily. I shared this funny meme the other day on IG because my sister said it applied to me. LOL
A follower told me to try Dermal Therapy. I ordered it from Amazon immediately and it’s awesome! My feet have never felt more smooth. I recommend putting the lotion on and wearing socks as it can feel a little tacky. I hate wearing socks with lotion on my feet but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Okay, next up is Shani Darden Lactic Acid Exfoliating Serum. My favorite beauty blogger has been singing this product’s praises for years and I finally listened and ordered. She kept saying this was the one product she couldn’t live without. I find it rare to see quick results from facial products but I really have to say this product is worth every penny. I immediately noticed smoother skin and better overall tone. I will continue to test it out and report but so far, I’m loving it. This would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift for that mom who loves taking care of her skin.
Lastly, this is my favorite sunscreen. It doesn’t matter how awesome your skin products are if you aren’t wearing sunscreen, friends! I wear this Goop sunscreen every single day no matter what. It goes on super smooth and acts as a great primer for makeup too.
