It’s time for FRIDAY FAVORITE FIVE EDITION 17!
Hey friends! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s week. Today on Friday Favorite Five, I’ll be sharing our favorite mini drill, some inexpensive art, pretty floating shelves, my new favorite facial toner and a small business owned by my blogger friend.
Favorite #1: Thayers Witch Hazel Toner
If you’re in need of a facial toner, here’s one I highly recommend. I have the coconut water one and it smells absolutely divine. I love using this stuff on my face and ordered it recently from Thrive Market. I have been ordering products from Thrive and have found some amazing products from my monthly auto shipments. If you’re interested in trying it out, you can use my referral link to receive $40 off. If you don’t want to sign up for Thrive, you can order this toner from Amazon.
I also highly recommend this steri-wash whenever you disinfect your ears. We took a trip to New Orleans a week ago and I may have gotten a spontaneous ear piercing while I was there. 🙂 I have a thing for earrings! Anyways, this saline spray is much better than the traditional ones you use with a cotton swab.
Favorite #2: Inexpensive Art
If you need to find some inexpensive art, I found a couple of frames from Hobby Lobby last week. I bought the gray and blue landscape wooden framed art below.
I also found the wooden framed landscape with the pretty gold interior frame from there. It looks lovely sitting on the gallery wall above our dresser. And yes, I totally need to repaint our dresser. I accidentally used the wrong black when I was doing a touch-up. Ha! It’s like the dresser has spots.
Favorite #3: Ryobi Drill
This compact cordless Ryobi drill is so easy to use and we love it for smaller projects. I used this drill to install the new curtain rods and the floating shelves in our bedroom. It does the job well without having to use a larger and heavier drill when it’s not totally necessary.
Favorite #4: Floating Shelves
The whitewashed teak floating shelves were gifted from Signature Hardware. They are wonderful for a bathroom but I thought they would look great in our bedroom too. I gathered up a bunch of frames that were sitting in random places and displayed them together with some art.
Favorite #5: DIY Mentali-Tee
My blogger friend, Erin owns and operates her t-shirt shop, DIY Mentali-Tee. When I saw this shirt, I knew I had to buy it! She came up with all the designs and they are just so creative. You know I love supporting a small business and this one is my pick for this week. I’m sporting my t-shirt and it’s super soft and comfortable. I think it would look super cute dressed up or casual like I did below.
Thanks so much for reading and hope you have the best weekend! If you have any questions about any sources that can’t be found on the post, please ask in the comments section and I’ll try my best to get back to you.
xoxo,
