LET’S CHECK OUT MY FRIDAY FAVORITE FIVE EDITION 11!
Now that January is in full force, I know many people are purging their closets and trying to implement some organizational strategies into their homes. I did a light purge of my closet last week and it felt great but I know I’ll need to really tackle it one full day. Today for Friday Favorite Five Edition 11, I’m talking about some of my favorite kitchen items.
I did a little restyling on the kitchen counters this past week and I love how the simple changes made those area feel new again. A couple years back, I shared my spice drawer. You can get the same 24 glass spice jars from Amazon.
I love using the seagrass-wrapped pitcher to hold all the wooden spoons. I found the tall pedestal wooden stand at Homegoods but here’s a similar option. The heavy terracotta bowl holds a bunch of fruit making it easily assessible for everyone.
Doing a simple tray swap with my baking counter and coffee station shows how an easy change can make that area function better. The black marble tray perfectly holds the three glass canisters. The small wooden bowls serve as the ideal sized snack bowls. The large white cutting board serves as a nice backdrop and the perfect charcuterie board when needed.
Here’s the coffee/tea station that we use multiple times a day. The white tray holds mugs, milk frother, milk pitcher, and a little ceramic bowl for sugar. The white canisters hold my favorite tea bags. Trays help corral all the items into one area making it more organized.
I’ve shared this before but if you have more cabinets than drawers, this slide out baking tray rack is a great way to use vertical storage space.
It’s a bit pricey but it really maximizes this cabinet over our oven. Since the cabinet is high, the pull out function is helpful.
Again, I shared more than 5! I can’t help it. 😉
And I can’t let the day go by without wishing my sweet hubby a happy birthday! He is truly getting better with age and I’m so thankful to do life with him. Happy birthday, Jimboy!
Thanks for reading, friends!
