LET’S CHECK OUT MY FRIDAY FAVORITE FIVE EDITION 10!
GUYS, how is Christmas in one week!! Are you ready? I have a few last-minute items I need to pick up and then I think I’ll be as ready as I can. For this week’s Friday Favorite Five, I’m highlighting a couple of small businesses, an inexpensive gift idea, and a free phone app for editing photos. Let’s get started!
Bryan Anthonys kindly reached out to me and sent a couple pieces of jewelry. The business is owned by a husband and wife team and their line focuses on meaningful and modern design. The company is named after co-founder Amber Glassman’s brother, whose young life was tragically taken due to a severe case of bacterial meningitis. On their About page, they share that Bryan Anthonys was founded on the verifiable truth of life’s fragility.
I love that the prices are affordable and the packaging was absolutely beautiful. Jules has been asking for a ring so I chose this one and will gift it to her from Santa. No, she doesn’t believe in Santa but it’s still fun to add those little gifts on the fireplace. I also got this dainty necklace and layer it with my other daily pieces. It looks like most of their pieces are currently on sale too!
If you are looking for some cute gift or tags for treats, here is an Etsy store named, “Made in Design Co” that I wanted to share. I printed out these cute tags and I think they will be adorable when I add them to our neighbor gifts. The tags are only $2 to download and you’re supporting an awesome mama! I should’ve printed them on white paper so that’s why the print isn’t as clear.
People ask me all the time how I edit photos or create design boards. One of the ways is by using Canva. It’s not only a great way to create graphics for my blog but to edit photos for free all from the ease of my phone. Download it on your phone and see all the free ways you can utilize this tool to enhance all your photos.
When my sister wore this sweatshirt on my stories during Thanksgiving, people went wild over it. It says thank you in Korean and it’s simple and just the cutest. I loved it so much, she gave me hers. But then Jules stole it from me and wears it all the time. The quality is awesome and you can support a small business owned by Koreans. My sister actually sells wholesale baked goods for them and works there once a week.
And lastly, if you need a simple inexpensive gift idea for your neighbor, put something like this together. In a cellophane bag, add a soap, lip balm and wooden spoon. I always pick up the soap and lip balm at Costco during this time of year because it’s such a great deal.
It would also make a great teacher gift with an added gift card! If you don’t have a Costco, order these soap bottles and lip balms easily from Amazon.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, friends! I am rushing to get some content turned in by early next week and I can’t wait to share them with you. One of them is a room makeover! I’m giving it a Christmas gift.
Thanks so much for reading!
