See how I added a little holiday cheer to create a merry and bright master bedroom.
Do you guys add decorations to the bedrooms in the house? I like to put a tiny tree in each of the kids’ rooms and put up a skinny pencil tree in our master. We only have a few weeks to enjoy this season so I like to maximize it by adding a little festive touch to our personal spaces. Today, I’m joining some blogger friends for a fun bedroom blog hop and I’ll be sharing my merry and bright master bedroom.
This post is sponsored by Crane and Canopy but all thoughts, opinions and styling are my own. Oh and a very special thank you to my husband for ironing everything so they look nice and crisp!
Do you know what I was most excited about sharing today? I mean, I love the new bedding and the added Christmas decor but I really really love my new jammies.
If you have ever seen my pajamas, I’m pretty sure you would feel very sorry for me. I have a cut up t-shirt which I wear most nights with my pajama bottoms that are also just as old. I always saw the monogrammed pajamas and thought they were super cute. However, I doubted they were comfy as my raggedy ones.
Holy cow! After I put these Layla pajama set on for the first time, I’m a firm believer. I have been wearing them to bed every night and I can’t wait to change out of my regular clothes just to put these on every single day. They are the softest and most comfortable pajamas I have ever put on my body. I thought my raggedy ones were the best but nope, these are it. Plus, they are so much cuter!
My friends at Crane and Canopy were kind enough to send me a new duvet and shams along with my monogrammed pajamas. I chose the Hayes Nova soft white duvet and I love the off white color and the detailed lining on them that add that special touch.
Each bedding comes shipped with a little lavender sachet so it smells divine. The Hayes duvet is 400 thread count cotton so it’s soft, luxurious and the most important part, it’s comfortable. The white edge piping adds a beautiful touch that gives it a tailored finish. There’s a unique zipper right where that stripe lining is so it makes doing laundry a breeze. It also made it easier for me to insert the comforter inside which can always be so dramatic. Just imagine me sweating profusely wrestling with the comforter and duvet trying to get it in those corners. Anyone else or just me?
I had bought our old duvet from TJ Maxx and the upper area had turned a little yellow. I blame my nightly oils on my face that have rubbed off onto the duvet over time. So I was happy to change them out for this beautiful set.
I added our skinny pencil tree to the corner and just decorated it with metallic ornament balls to add some shimmer.
I did indeed decorate this tree in my pajamas. I don’t change out of them unless completely necessary.
Something about the monogram elevates pajamas to another level. I feel so so fancy.
Can you tell I adore them? I ordered the navy set in small. It’s a little loose on me and I could’ve sized down but they are so so comfortable and prefer a bigger fit with pajamas. I’m 5’7″ and the pants are a perfect length on me.
The tree adds the perfect touch of Christmas to our bedroom. I didn’t go crazy in here and it’s just how I like it.
I sewed the plaid pillow a few years back.
Be sure to check out the rest of my blogger friends for their bedroom tours. They have so much beautiful inspiration to share and I know you will love them.
