Here’s our fun Halloween 2021 recap!
Did you have a great Halloween? Can you believe it’s November? October felt like it really flew by especially since we had so many birthday celebrations all month long with our friends. I just had to share a little Halloween 2021 recap so I could keep these photos saved in a blog post.
Jimmy and I love getting into the Halloween spirit since our neighborhood friends and family all dress up. Can you guess who we are? Let me give you a hint. “I ain’t no hollback girl!”
Just a girl with her country boy! #gwenandblake. Thanks to Jules for designing my shirt with her mad sharpie and scissor skills. I did order these drawstring jogger pants and they were sooo comfy. I will be sporting these on the regular. I just bought a cheap cowboy hat for Jimmy and we wore what we had.
We had way too much fun getting into character as we always do. The neighborhood kids were looking oh so cute! Emmy dressed as a little witch and JJ was a blue crayon.
Do you spot that cute little baby shark?!
Over the weekend, I made these delicious brown butter Rice Krispies treats for a birthday party in the neighborhood. Cut them into rectangles, add a stick with drizzled chocolate. For some reason, they are way more fun to eat this way.
This costume will never get old!
The girls did so good with their costumes! We had Batgirl, roaring 20’s, Gwen, Jojo Siwa, Mary Poppins, Tailored Living employee, Frida Kahlo and mama shark.
Okay, so did the guys.
I’m bummed I didn’t get a photo with the kids but we all had a blast. Our oldest stayed behind with her cousins to pass out the candy. It seemed like just yesterday when she was running around trick or treating with the rest of the gang.
Jimmy played his best character which is being everyone’s uncle.
Gwen and Jojo Siwa! You may have seen us recently on The Voice or Dancing with the Stars.
Wanna take a trip down memory lane? It’s always so fun looking at all of past costumes. Last year we were Carole Baskins and Tiger King.
He was 100% fully committed wearing my mom’s beautiful blouse 😀
2019: Elsa and Olaf
This is a really great last-minute idea. Just be a bunch of crayons!
You can never go wrong with an 80s theme. That is actually my dad’s super vintage Nike jacket from like 40 years ago!
Mugato and his roaring 20s girlfriend
A witch and her kitty cat were also a lot of fun.
Wayne’s World party time excellent.
One of our favorites was when we dressed up as a package and UPS driver.
I recently found this old photo from Halloween 2013. Emmy was only 4 months old here! I made her that little bikini top to be a hulu girl. Oh how time flies! Now, Jules is so much taller than me. 🙁
Well, Gwen and Blake had a blast all night long. It was another Halloween success!
Hope you guys had a wonderful Halloween weekend!
xoxo,
