Cozy Electric Fireplace in the Bedroom

We added a cozy electric fireplace in the bedroom and it’s the perfect addition to our space.

With Chrismas just around the corner, we were so excited to add a beautiful electric fireplace in the bedroom from Home Depot. Not only was it easy to assemble but it filled up this large wall in our bedroom. It was like it was always meant to be there.

Here is the large wall prior to us assembling the electric fireplace from the Home Decorator’s Collection. We decided this wall in our room was the best choice because it faces our bed and creates the ideal focal point.

I chose this 68-inch freestanding media console electric fireplace because of the practicality of the adjustable shelving and the two-toned traditional oak finish. Jimmy ended up assembling it alone because I hurt my back the same day. Thankfully, he was able to put it together in less than 2 hours.

This unique fireplace accommodates most flat-screen TVs up to 80 in. and 90 lbs. It also has a concealed charging station that’s built into the media bay with 2 USB ports to charge your devices.

Christmas can’t come soon enough and now we get to enjoy the warmth and beauty of a fireplace in our own bedroom.

Home Depot sells a large selection of holiday decor like trees, wreaths, garlands, and ornaments. The 3 ft white iridescent tinsel trees really pop against the navy walls and flow with the metallic theme surrounding the fireplace.

The 12 ft battery operated noble fir LED garland sits on top of the console but would be just as beautiful on a staircase or over a door. When it comes to faux garlands, I always add in some real branches to create a full and real looking garland.

The silver splendor mirror glassed disco ball ornaments hang on the garland and come in a pack of 6. They would look beautiful in a Christmas tree, garland, wreath, or simply placed in a bowl. I love the reflection they offer and it creates a modern contrast to the more traditional fireplace.

During the day when the sunlight pours into our bedroom, the ornaments cast all these specks of light on the dark walls and it’s just the prettiest thing ever. It’s like a disco party!

The electric fireplace has different settings featuring a 3-dimensional flame-effect technology for the most realistic flames surrounding the logs.

It also has 3 color settings and 5 adjustable brightness and speed settings. So cool right? The flame effect can be operated with or without heat so that you can use it all year round.

Isn’t the glow gorgeous? It adds the prettiest light and warms our bedroom which gets really cold during the winter months. The adjustable, digital thermostat is controlled by the remote and can efficiently heat up your space.

We feel good knowing that it uses patented safer plug prevention technology to help monitor the temperature to prevent electrical fires.

The 30-inch noble fir battery-operated LED wreath hung up on the vintage gold mirror looks lovely. I tied a simple silver satin ribbon to coordinate with the ornaments.
