Hope you are having a great week! I just wanted to poke my head in and share some exciting recent features for Love Your Abode.

Our kitchen was featured on an HGTV article called, “15 Glam-on-a-Budget Cabinet Updates for Kitchens.” This was written by Lori Johnston. This huge project was on a budget and still my favorite makeover to date. It has really transformed the kitchen and it’s no longer a dark space. Since I spend a ton of time in there, I needed it to be bright and fresh. I will have to share a post soon on how everything has been holding up since the makeover. 

Our guest room was also featured on HGTV in an article by Lori Johnston called, “How to use a DIY headboard to remake your room.” I updated this headboard and the rest of the furniture using Velvet Finishes paint. Everything has held up great so far and we’ve housed a bunch of guests!

Thanks so much for reading and your constant love and encouragement. I really can’t say it enough. A year ago if you told me I would be featured on HGTV, I would NOT have believed it and I may have smacked you for saying such a thing. ;D Thank you for letting me share my love of DIY and making a house a home with you all.
