Make this epic Thanksgiving sandwich with all those delicious leftovers.
Hey friends, did you have a great Thanksgiving? Have you found any black friday deals? Instead of black friday shopping, I made this epic Thanksgiving sandwich! I hope you ate your heart out all while chilling in your biggest stretchy pair of pants. I know I did! We cooked for 18 people and it was a nice time together with family and new friends. My SIL invited a couple of families so we broke bread together and enjoyed each other’s company. Well, what’s better than Thanksgiving food? The leftovers!
See that goodness right there? It’s full of your favorite Thanksgiving foods like cranberry sauce, turkey, honey baked ham and stuffing. The combinations are endless. You can add sweet potato casserole, sliced cheese, mac and cheese, creamed corn. Dunk that sandwich in some gravy and you got the best post Thanksgiving meal. But, the important part is using a panini or pan to make a toasted sandwich.
Spread some butter or mayo on the outside of the bread before toasting it. If you’re using a pan, you have to press it down with a spatula so that the insides get warm. If you don’t have a panini maker, you need to get one. I’m on my 5th one already because we use it sooo much. Here’s a great one online that’s currently on sale for less than $20. This one also has great reviews and is bit more expensive.
We made these with the kids today and they all gobbled it down. Jimmy and I had leftover coleslaw in ours and it was delicious!
I’ll be back soon to share some fun stuff.
Here’s my youtube video on how I created this awesome panini sandwich.
