Beef brisket tacos make a stress free and delicious meal prepared from your very own crockpot.

Ready for some beef brisket tacos?! This adapted recipe is seriously easy and delicious. The slow cooker does almost all of the work so it’s a no stress meal. My family tore this up!

Beef Brisket Tacos (6 servings)

  • 2-3 lbs beef brisket
  • olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 1 cup bbque sauce
  • corn or flour tortillas
  • salt/pepper
  • kale salad or cole slaw

I season the meat with salt, pepper and garlic powder on both sides.

beef-brisket-taco-recipe|loveyourabode|3 Under medium heat, pour some olive oil into the pan and brown both sides of the meat.

beef-brisket-taco-recipe|loveyourabode| Place both pieces of meat along with the rest of the ingredients all into the slow cooker. I used my dutch oven and cooked this on low for about 2.5 hours. If using a crock pot, cook for about 6 hours under low setting.

When the meat is done, shred it and make sure to coat it well with the yummy sauce.

You definitely want to top it with some cole slaw. I love the pre packaged kale salad mix from Costco. You can top it with sour cream, shredded cheese or both.

I love my taco with kale salad and some avocado or my fresh guacamole. You can’t go wrong with this recipe. It’s delicious!

For low carbers, you could eat this over a salad or with a baked sweet potato.

I miss her big giant hugs, random crazy dance moves, impromptu jams on the piano, base guitar, harmonica, and ukulele. It’s a mix of excitement, happiness and sadness and I’m letting myself feel it all. I catch myself getting weepy throughout the day but I feel a deep sense of gratitude for this new season and what she’ll get to experience.
Aside from the rug, the girls styled their space and it turned out so cute. I love that she’s rooming with her friend from 1st grade. How can my child be in college?!😭😢
