It’s the day to finally share my ORC main bathroom final reveal!
This has been a 6 week labor of love. If you are visiting me for the first time, welcome! Make sure to start from the beginning and start with Week 1 of my #oneroomchallenge with Linda at Calling it Home.
Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4, Week 5
Remember my inspiration board?
This bathroom was super tricky to photograph due to no natural lighting and the weird angle from the door. I shot the bathroom a few times with my camera but wasn’t super happy with it so I called on the professionals who also happen to be my best friend, Unchong and her husband, Craig. Even with their crazy busy schedules, they came over on Tuesday morning for a few minutes in between their meetings and took some photos for me and I’m forever grateful! You’ll see a mix of my photos and Craig’s and I’ve made sure to credit him for the ones he took. I’m pretty sure you’ll notice the difference!
Just in case you don’t remember what my bathroom used to look it, here are a couple of BEFORE pics. It was a standard builder grade bathroom with little personality. With each One Room Challenge, I try to further my design skills by going beyond my comfort zone.
I’m going to keep the words to a minimum and share a bunch of AFTER pics because I know that’s why you’re here. Are you ready?!
AFTER!
I’ll be sharing another post regarding my DIY painted tiles soon. I love how much character they add to the small space.

Simply painting the vanity black and changing the knobs made a dramatic difference alone.
My husband, Jimmy took this photo. As always, he was a huge help. He changed out the light fixture, faucet, and re-caulked the bathtub.

A huge thanks goes out to my following sponsors for assisting me with this bathroom makeover. Thank you so much for following along, friends!! I’m so glad it’s complete! If you have any questions, be sure to ask away in the comment section and I’ll try to respond as soon as possible. I’ll share another post soon with some of the details and sources to this makeover.

Looks beautiful! I have a very similar challenge in my new home and will use this as inspiration. Can you please tell me when you’ll be posting your DIY steps on painting the tile? And where you found the floor stencil? Thanx! So glad I found your blog
Hi Trish! Thank you so much for the sweet comments. I will hopefully post it in about a month after some wear and tear has occurred in the bathroom as want to give an accurate review. I found the stencil at Hobby Lobby! Hope that helps! Good luck with your home!
