Welcome to my Christmas Kitchen Tour!
Today, I’m sharing my Christmas Kitchen Tour as part of a very big Christmas Tour of Homes with my blogger friends. The tour started on Monday and there is just so much to see and be inspired by. If you’re coming from The Summery Umbrella, welcome!! With the busyness of this season, I hope this gives you a chance to sit back even for a few minutes.
I’ve been wanting to change out my kitchen curtains for a while now and I finally did! I bought one buffalo check panel and I cut and sewed two panels for my corner windows. I love the pattern and it goes perfectly with my bench at the kitchen desk.
It’s already been about 3.5 years since we painted our kitchen cabinets. They have held up pretty well and was worth all the sweat and tears. It was a huge DIY project but well worth it.
You can check out how I created my $10 foraged centerpiece here. It’s perfect for Christmas and all you have to do is forage your yard!
My favorite part of our kitchen is the large island because it’s perfect for hosting guests. We gather and do life around this island every single day. Homework, eating, praying, baking, talking, you name it, we do it right here. So so thankful for this space.
I also love having our pencil tree here in the kitchen. It’s narrow enough to fit in this little nook and it just adds a little more Christmas spirit to our space. I put a basket on the bottom and covered it with the leftover buffalo check fabric and my faux furry collar that goes with my coat. My love for repurposing is strong, people.
It’s decorated with gold ornaments and lots of ribbon. My favorite tip to use ribbon is to cut them in pieces and work them into the tree.
I was really digging the faux flowers on our trees this year.
To be honest, my favorite sight in here is seeing my husband cook us breakfast on the weekends! Bacon and pancakes, yesssss!!
Next on the tour is Twelve on Main. You don’t want to miss that tour! Here is the complete list of the tour.

OK…I just now realized that I need a skinny pencil tree and a repurposed fur collar! Have I been hiding under a rock? They are perfect to decorate without taking up too much space. Your kitchen is lovely and we are so thankful that you joined us. This tour was such success because of beautiful homes like yours.
Have a wonderful and very Merry Christmas! Keeping my fingers crossed that your foster child arrives soon.
Many hugs my friend,

We had a similar one in our previous house, but no more since we downsized. Anyways, I just want to say I’ve enjoyed meeting you through our Christmas Tour of Homes. Merry Christmas!
