This is a little different than my typical Monday post but I really felt convicted to share some awesome truth that the Lord pressed upon my heart recently.
In struggles, there is stretching. It usually involves stretching one’s faith, character and resilience. Even in the midst of it, I can find peace and a joy deep within this side of the struggle. It’s because there is a knowing that I’ll be on the other side one day. There will be a fuller testimony of His Story unveiled in the cracks where I don’t always see it. In the process, I can choose to pray with faith by praying as if I’ve already received it (Mark 11:24). I’m not saying it’s easy because it’s actually the opposite. It’s really hard.
But until then, I can press forward and have faith that he’s doing a good work in me, perfecting me, honing me (Philippians 1:6). Because in reality, it’s not my story. It’s His Story and I get to play a small part in it.
